"Bringing the transition economy to life and helping it grow"
From October 29 to 31, 2025, Bordeaux will host the 7th edition of the Global Social and Solidarity Economy Forum (GSEF). This international event will bring together SSE actors, local authorities, and organizations committed to a fairer, more sustainable, and inclusive economy.
Agrisud International will participate with several partners in two key events:
October 29 – 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. > Participatory workshop: “Experiencing a solidarity project”
Through role-playing, participants will be invited to discover the issues, challenges, and complexity of implementing an international solidarity project aimed at promoting access to education. The workshop will highlight the power relations and collaborative balances that influence the design and implementation of this type of project.

October 30 – 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. > Round table discussion: “Rethinking proximity: when local solidarity improves the daily lives of people living in vulnerable areas”
Co-organized by Agrisud International and Initiative Développement, two NGOs based in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, this round table will facilitate dialogue between social and solidarity economy actors involved in implementing local and sustainable solutions in France and abroad. These initiatives will show how skills development and community involvement are powerful levers for boosting the economy of rural areas and improving people's living conditions.
