Agrisud has developed a Digital Resource Centre to share its knowledge and know-how with as many people as possible.
Consisting of a media library and an E-learning, our documents, videos and training courses are now freely available!
Since October 5, 2023, a new E-learning training course has been online: “Agro-ecology: method for disseminating practices”.

A media library and an E-learning dedicated to agricultural development in Southern countries

For the past 30 years, Agrisud has been capitalizing on its experience in the field with a view to strengthening skills. Project methods and tools have been formalized and disseminated to project teams and partners.

Today, this “knowledge capital” is available with free access in the Digital Resources Centre designed to amplify the sharing of “professional” knowledge among agricultural development stakholders in the Southern countries: civil society organizations, local authorities, decentralized technical services... but also with students.

“The objective is to strengthen skills in order to best support the agroecological transition of territories in Southern countries and the development of sustainable family farming." Simon Baliteau, Agriter program Manager, Agrisud.

The Digital Resource Center consists of two spaces: a media library and an E-learning platform.

The media library contains 160 reference documents (guides, technical sheets, diagnoses and studies, etc.) covering 15 themes (plant and animal production, agro-processing, food and nutritional safety, climate, project engineering, etc.) in several languages.

It also features videos, photos and thematic files.

In the E-learning platform, 3 training courses* are currently available to learn or refresh your knowledge on key themes of agricultural development:

  • agroecology
  • territorial projects for sustainable agriculture
  • management advising

The lessons are all illustrated with concrete examples from our countries of intervention.
* The training courses do not lead to certification. A self-assessment form is provided at the end of each course.

The E-learning training: “Agro-ecology: method to disseminate practices”

Agroecology addresses the issues and concerns of very small family farms. It favors practices that, among other things, reconcile productivity and sustainable management of natural resources.

But promoting agroecological practices isn't easy!

"The aim of this E-learning course is to provide a method and tools to facilitate the work of agroecology "promoters" in the field. It's not about delivering animated training content on practices". Claire Kieffer, Knowledge Management Officer, Agrisud.

The course is aimed at all field “practitioners” working in contact with family farms: agricultural animators and technicians, project coordinators, teacher-researchers, members of farmers’ organizations… as well as students whishing to deepen their knowledge!

E-learning registration is free, and the modules have been designed to enable independent learning at your own pace.

>> Access the E-learning platform (Training courses are currently available in French. English versions to come!).
