Having previously heard from professionals in the field, Agrisud now turns to a teacher and a student. They explain how e-learning courses have enriched their teaching and learning, thereby helping to train a new generation of leaders in the agroecological transition.

Different perspectives on the use of Agrisud’s e-learning in training contexts

From France to the Malagasy Highlands, Agrisud’s three online courses fit seamlessly into the curriculum by providing concrete examples, international case studies and reference materials, particularly in agroecology.

In France, Freenel-Florian is an agronomy student: “I was looking for ‘practical fieldwork’ and real-world examples from different countries, and that’s exactly what I found to complement the theory from my lectures.”

In Madagascar, Hantanirina is a senior lecturer at the University of Itasy: “As Agrisud is a leading authority in agroecology, its e-learning module is a source of inspiration and an excellent learning tool.”

This feedback highlights the platform’s value as a complementary educational tool, helping to bridge the gap between theoretical teaching, practical fieldwork and local realities.

The training topics on Agrisud’s e-learning platform:

  • Agroecology: methods for promoting best practices
  • Designing and implementing regional projects for sustainable agriculture

Completely free and available offline, the platform is part of an initiative to disseminate knowledge and build long-term capacity, supporting those working to transform agricultural systems.
