INTERNSHIP: Analysis of local supply chains for fresh products from artisanal fishing as part of the Green Farmers Program, in partnership with Agrisud International and Club Med
6 months (from September 2024 to February 2025)
Internship objective
Analyze the relevance and feasibility of setting up local supply chains for fresh fishery products, with 8 Club Med villages in 6 countries (Dominican Republic, Benin, Senegal, Indonesia, Mauritius, Seychelles).
Profile
- Agricultural engineer or graduate of a Master's degree specialized in aquaculture, fisheries or sustainable management of aquatic bioresources;
- Interest in issues related to sustainable fishing and in the world of development NGOs;
- Autonomy and ease of communication with people from diverse cultural backgrounds;
- Analysis and synthesis skills;
- Writing skills;
- Fluency in English (read, spoken, written) essential.
Internship conditions
- Workplace: Libourne, in Agrisud premises + travel abroad to some of the program's target countries (Senegal, Benin, Indonesia, Mauritius, Dominican Republic).
- Remuneration: legal basis of €3.9 per hour, or €573.30 per month + meal allowances.
- Compensation: coverage of costs related to carrying out diagnostics in the field.
