CONTEXT
OBJECTIVES
Developing local supply chains according to a win-win principle:
- Family farms improve their practices to produce quality products, in quantity and regularity, and benefit from new sales channels.
- Cap Skirring Club Med village benefits from quality local agroecological products, traceability and a positive image valued with its customers;
RESULTS
- 1 economic interest group (EIG) supported in the development of its activities: the Batiaye EIG which includes some 180 market gardeners
- 1 local and agroecological supply chain established with the Club Med village (on average 20 t delivered each season)
- 1 business partnership established between the EIG and Cap Skirring Club Med village
- 1 new sales channel as a result: partnership established with Casamasanté du Sénégal for the purchase and redistribution of fresh fruit and vegetable baskets to families in vulnerable situations in the region
