December 2008 :

The project Tambiroa "support the reduction of food insecurity in the south of Madagascar" was conducted from January 2006 to January 2009 in the region of Anosy, Fort Dauphin District .

During these three years the project team has implemented various activities concerning the improvement of agricultural systems and practices.

CARE International in Madagascar, through its South Program, was the prime contractor for the Action. Agrisud International has provided its expertise in sustainable economic development focusing on small businesses and support income-generating activities in agriculture.

FAFAFI, local NGOs, set up the field team who, through a device close to area managers and facilitators, provided direct support to farmers.
