Olive campaign in Skoura Print E-mail

Since 2004, AGRISUD and its Moroccan partners involved in the provinces of Ouarzazate and Zagora in southern Morocco to support small family farms. The activities aim to strengthen technical and better integration of agricultural markets.

In December 2006, the association Ouled Massaoud located near a village Response AGRISUD, wants to implement actions to support agricultural activities in a process similar to that implemented by AGRISUD.

After several meetings and making a diagnosis, the decision is made to work: 25 family farms are supported in their gardening activities, sheep-raising and fruit growing (training for technical skills, management training, direct support ...).

It is through this collaboration that the idea of a professional organization for better development of olive production, notably through the transformation. EL Mohamadia Cooperative was created in April 2010 by the producers of olives.
