Depuis Janvier 2011, Agrisud International met en oeuvre un projet de diversification de l'agriculture périurbaine et de lutte contre la malnutrition à Siem Reap au Cambodge, avec le soutien du Conseil Général des Hauts de Seine (CG92) et de France Volontaires. From Monday, November 23 to Saturday, December 5, 2009, 11 Congolese NGOs and a representative of agricultural services attended a training session hosted by AGRISUD International in Kimpese in the province of Bas-Congo. This training, funded by the French Embassy and Agrisud International, enabled participants to strengthen their capacity to support VSE (Very Small Enterprise). Cofinanced with the European Union, Agrisud launched in June 2009 a project to develop sustainable agriculture in North Kivu, Democratic Republic of Congo. This action structuring development on two territories (Beni and Lubero) and aims to support 1700 family farmers and to reorganize the commercial channels.
