Agrisud held a new learning cycle for the promotion of agroecology in Siem Reap (Cambodia) from 9 to 15 January 2012. 21 particpants from different NGO - Agrisud /Agricam and partners (GRET, OXFAM, PADEK, Leuven development, and Rachana Srer Khmer) have, for a week, worked hard on agroecologyprinciples and practices and also on the methods and tools for the transfer of these practices to producers. Alternating classroom work and field applications,the participants were able to realize the importance of balancing "technical mastery" and "know-how for dissemination" and to promotesustainable agricultural development. Agrisud has been implementing since the early 2010 food security project in the district of Viengkham, Luang Prabang province in Laos. The project "Food security for women and rural poor" is financed by the European Union, France Volonteer and Agrisud.
